POIPU BEACH SURF SCHOOL
Poipu Beach Surf School is owned and operated by professional waterman and former pro body boarder Doug Muraoka. They are committed to providing each guests with a safe, fun, and friendly surfing experience.

Poipu Beach Surf School teaches people how to surf at the Sheraton Beach in Poipu. It is very safe, with only four people per instructor. Instructors also stay with the surfers for the full lesson, never leaving them alone in the ocean. Our instructors are dedicated to making your safety our number one priority!

Instructors start out with a brief instructional video at the Nukumoi Surf Shop (2080 Hoone Rd. in Koloa), educating surfers about the surfboard, how to paddle the board, how to stand up, and closing with ocean safety tips. The rest of the lesson is spent in the water catching waves.

Poipu Beach Surf School offers group, semi-private, and private lessons for both adults and children.
